Description

South of 5th is a salty, sunlit aquatic fougère that turns warm and woody as the day goes on. Adamo Parfum named it for the southern tip of Miami Beach and released it in 2024, with Hamid Merati-Kashani as the perfumer. It opens with a mineral marine accord, neroli, Siberian pine and pink pepper, so the first impression is sea spray with a resinous, piney edge. The heart brings Damask rose, tuberose and nutmeg, a dewy floral touch with a little spice. In the base, Haitian vetiver and Virginia cedar take over, with patchouli and a trace of praline adding a golden-hour warmth. It wears unisex and sits between a beach scent and an evening woody.
