Description

Oud de Chypre reimagines the classic chypre structure through an Arabian lens. It opens with sun-warmed bergamot and apricot before yielding to a lush heart of Turkish and Azerbaijani roses, jasmine and Ko Chang agarwood. At its core lies a masterful interplay of oud and oakmoss: three provenances of agarwood layered against mossy depth, a signature of Amer Alradhi's craftsmanship. The base settles into a rich, resinous trail of sandalwood, vetiver and civet, warmed by Madagascar vanilla and amber. A unisex extrait de parfum from Amer Perfumes.

Translation: A luxurious, old-world chypre: bright citrus and lush flowers over dark, mossy oud and warm amber. Rich and slightly animalic, with a vintage elegance.

Performance

This is a 2025 release with limited public reviews so far, so we are not quoting a reviewer consensus. As a dense oud and oakmoss extrait, expect a rich, close-to-moderate projection with long wear; a small application goes a long way.

Best Occasions & Season

Suited to evenings, nights out and leisure. The rich oud, moss and amber are most at home in fall and winter, with the citrus and floral opening also making it wearable on cooler spring days.
