Beloved Woman is a dense, animalic amber, and a genuinely retired Amouage formula. Created by Bernard Ellena and launched in 2012, it opens with chamomile, rose, clary sage, and lavender brightened by cloves, cardamom, and jasmine, before immortelle, patchouli, benzoin, and violet deepen the heart. The base is where it turns animalic: civet, castoreum, leather, ambergris, and musk over sandalwood, cedar, and vanilla. Amouage discontinued it, and it's now sought after among collectors.
