Description

Decision 42 is Quentin Bisch's original Decision, rebuilt at Extrait strength. Part of Amouage's 2026 Exceptional Extraits collection, it reworks the 2025 original around a sharper, smokier evocation of its founding image, a juniper tree struck by lightning. Cardamom, cinnamon, pink pepper, neroli, and bergamot open with brighter spice than the original, before frankincense, pine tar, myrrh, sandalwood, and juniper berry deepen into a darker, more resinous heart. Vanilla, cedarwood, patchouli, and labdanum close it out.

• Decision (original EDP, 2025): the standard-strength juniper-and-lightning composition.
• Decision 42 (this one, 2026): the same Quentin Bisch fragrance rebuilt at 42% Extrait concentration, with neroli and cinnamon added to sharpen the opening and rectified pine tar pushed further forward for a smokier, darker, longer-lasting dry-down.
