Description

E-lectron is an amber built from the ground up, spiced, edible and dry, by Greek indie perfumer Angelos Balamis. The name is the Ancient Greek word for amber, and Balamis ties it to the fossil-amber backgammon checkers and worry beads of his grandfather. He released it in late 2025 as his last launch of the year. Blackcurrant, cardamom, elemi, coriander seed and black pepper open it with a mix of warm and cool spice. The heart is cacao, sweet clover, immortelle, osmanthus, orris butter and ambrette, a hay-like, honeyed sweetness with a soft powder. The base layers amber materials, cistus, white chocolate, bran, tonka, benzoin, sandalwood and patchouli. It wears unisex and feels handmade in the best sense: dense, textured and slow to unfold.

Scent Character

Translation: woody and spiced amber at its core. Sandalwood and patchouli carry the structure, the spices run through the opening, and cacao, tonka and white chocolate add a dry sweetness. The resinous share comes from cistus and benzoin, not from oud.
