Bortnikoff Tabac Dore Extrait
Description
Tabac Doré ("golden tobacco"), created by Dmitry Bortnikoff and launched in 2021, is Bortnikoff's ode to the oriental night. It's built around a rare tobacco absolute whose 300+ natural components unfold into something layered and comforting, meeting a dark, potent blend of wild oud from Thailand and Vietnam, distilled in-house. Vanilla, resins, and precious balsams soften the union of smoke and wood into an enveloping, noble finish.
Scent Character
Amber-vanilla with a tobacco-oud core: a musky, sweet ambrette-vanilla opening, a warm tobacco-cinnamon-fig heart, and a genuine Thai and Vietnamese oud base rounded out with cedar and sandalwood.

FAQ
Is the oud real?
Yes. Genuine Thai and Vietnamese agarwood anchor the base.
Is it unisex?
Yes.
Does it smell like a cigar or pipe tobacco?
It's closer to a sweet, absolute-grade tobacco leaf than smoke. The actual smokiness comes from the oud and resins in the base.
What's the difference between the Extrait and the Attar?
Both share the same fragrance oil; the attar is an oil-based, alcohol-free format, while the extrait is the standard alcohol-based format.
