Description

Mémoire de Daisen In is a soft rose walk into the stillness of a Kyoto stone garden. Sonia Constant of Ella K drew it from the dry Zen gardens of Kyoto, where raked gravel and stone replace water. It opens on kumquat, bergamot and a pinch of nutmeg, passes through alba rose and peony softened by musk, and settles on ambroxan and maple wood. The effect is quiet and mineral: a fresh, airy rose that grows calmer and woodier as it wears.
