Fragrance Du Bois Oud Noir Intense Extrait is the bold, dark flagship of the house's Shades Du Bois collection, an Amber Spicy composition by perfumer Francois Merle-Baudoin, launched in 2013. Cardamom and bergamot open the fragrance before a heart of rose and jasmine emerges, settling into a dense base of genuine agarwood (oud), musk, saffron, sandalwood, amber and vanilla. Fragrance du Bois farms its own agarwood rather than relying on synthetic substitutes, and this is one of the clearest expressions of that heritage: unmistakably real oud, built for maximum intensity.
