Description

Rose Magnitude is a rose grown wild rather than in a garden: fruity at first, spiced and earthy underneath, creamy by the end. It is the 2026 addition to the Botanical Series from Goldfield & Banks, the Australian house founded by Dimitri Weber, and was composed by Clément Marx of Robertet with Weber. The house draws on Australia's pink salt lakes under pastel skies. Fresh raspberry and Egyptian cumin open it, with orris butter and buckwheat adding a powdery, toasted edge. Damask rose, violet, geranium and ginger form the heart, and it settles on black vanilla, tonka, sandalwood-amyris and papyrus. The cumin is a real presence in the opening, so this is a rose with some grit to it.
