Description

Beyond Oblivion is a green, bitter-fresh opening of Japanese myoga ginger that settles into white flowers and hinoki wood. Part of J-Scent's Profound line, it launched in 2024, and the house frames it around the idea of forgetting and starting again. Myoga, ginger, green apple, peppermint, eucalyptus, juniper berry and lemon give a sharp, herbal start. Green tea, geranium, tuberose, jasmine, hyacinth and gardenia fill the heart, and hinoki, vetiver, dry woods, sandalwood, amber and musk make a clean, woody base.

Scent Character

Translation: fresh and woody in almost equal measure, with a floral heart between them. The small sweet and spicy shares are the amber and ginger.
