Description

Maydan is herbs, spiced apple and saffron over warm woods: an alpine pasture in the sun, with a baked-fruit sweetness. It belongs to Loumari's Terre et Mer collection from the independent Paris house, and was composed by Amélie Bourgeois. Thyme, lavender and cinnamon make an aromatic, slightly spicy opening. Apple, saffron and blackcurrant bring a fruity heart with a golden spice to it, and amberwood, patchouli, sandalwood, black pepper and vanilla give it a warm, dry-sweet base. Wearers describe it as spicy-sweet, with strong projection and good staying power.

Scent Character

Translation: an even split between sweet and spice, with a fresh, herbal lift from thyme and lavender. The ambery share is amberwood, patchouli and vanilla, not oud.
