Description

M. Micallef Hypnotic Musk Nectar is a 2025 extrait de parfum for women from the French niche house founded by Martine Micallef, composed by Thierry Romeo. It is the richer, denser take on the Hypnotic Musk theme: powdery iris and raspberry up top, a juicy lychee, violet and caramel heart, then a soft base of musk, vanilla, sandalwood and ambergris.

Scent Character

  • Sweet: 50%
  • Floral: 18%
  • Woody: 14%
  • Fresh: 9%
  • Spicy: 9%

Translation: A powdery, fruity-floral musk with a caramel-vanilla glow: soft on the skin, but noticeably richer than an ordinary eau de parfum.

Fragrance Pyramid

  • Top: Iris, bergamot, raspberry
  • Heart: Ginger, lychee, violet, caramel
  • Base: Musk, vanilla, sandalwood, ambergris

Performance

Longevity and sillage both rate 5 out of 5 on our scale. As an extrait it should stay on the skin well into the evening with a noticeable aura, though this is a 2025 release with limited independent wear reports, so results vary with skin and climate.

Best Occasions & Season

Best for everyday wear and leisure, especially in spring and summer, when its fruity-floral sweetness feels light against warm skin.
