Maiora Parfum Joykush Extrait
Description
Joykush is a green, peppery extrait that swings between fresh and sensual: rhubarb, pepper and grapefruit up top, spice and flowers in the middle. Released in 2025 by Maiora Parfum, the Italian house whose fragrances are composed by Antonio Gigli, it has one of the longest note lists in the line. The opening piles up rhubarb, black and pink pepper, grapefruit, mandarin, lemon, basil, clary sage and a green cannabis-leaf accord, with saffron, honey and plum adding warmth. The heart turns floral and spicy with peach blossom, violet leaves, lavender, geranium, jasmine, cardamom and clove, and it dries down to sandalwood, cedarwood, oakmoss and a creamy lemon note. The house describes it as a play of contrasts, and that is how it wears: bright and herbal early, softer and woodier later.
Scent Character
- Spicy: 22%
- Fresh: 22%
- Sweet: 19%
- Floral: 19%
- Woody: 15%
- Rich Ambers: 5%
Translation: an even split between spicy, fresh, sweet and floral, which matches how busy the pyramid is. Woods hold it together at the end, and the small amber share is patchouli, not oud.
Fragrance Pyramid

Performance
Longevity: Good for an extrait of this fresher style: expect around 7–9 hours on skin.
Sillage: Moderate to strong in the first couple of hours.
Projection: About arm's length early on, then it settles into a woody, herbal skin scent.
An honest note: it is a 2025 release and reviews are still few. The fresh, peppery opening is the loudest phase and fades first.
