Frederic Malle Vetiver Extraordinaire EDP
Description
Vetiver Extraordinaire puts Haitian vetiver at the center and lets it shine. Composed by Dominique Ropion for Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle in 2002, it frames the root with bitter orange, bergamot and pink pepper at the top and sandalwood, oakmoss, amber and musk underneath. The house describes it as elegant but witty, giving a serious material an easy lightness. It smells green, dry, slightly smoky and very clean, and it has become a reference point for vetiver fragrances.
