Vanilla | 28 is a warm, sugared amber vanilla, the easy, cozy scent Kayali built its name on. Launched in 2018 as one of the first fragrances from Kayali, the house founded by Mona Kattan, it was composed by Gabriela Chelariu. It opens on vanilla orchid with a little jasmine, turns gourmand through brown sugar and tonka bean, and settles into amber, amberwood, musk and a touch of patchouli. It is one of the most frequently recommended vanillas for beginners and for layering, and reviewers describe it as deep and comforting, like a textured vanilla powder.
