Interlude Woman is the feminine sibling to Amouage's famously powerful Interlude Man, its own distinct incense-amber, not a softened rehash. Created by Karine Vinchon Spehner and released in 2012, it opens with marigold, ginger, grapefruit, and bergamot before an unusually rich heart unfolds: incense, walnut, immortelle, kiwi, honey, opoponax, coffee, sandalwood, rose, orange blossom, and jasmine. The base brings genuine agarwood (oud) alongside leather, benzoin, amber, sandalwood, tonka bean, oakmoss, vanilla, and musk: a resinous, smoky-sweet finish that draws on the same Omani heritage of rare incense and oud that defines Amouage's house identity. It's a bold, layered composition for someone who wants a true statement fragrance.
