Eight 1mL samples:

• NoCologne (Extrait): grapefruit, lemon, mandarin and bergamot, then ginger, clary sage, orange blossom and pink pepper over ambrette, oakmoss, amber and vetiver. A citrus with a herbal, green backbone.
• Vanilla Haze (Extrait): lemon, hazelnut and coconut milk, then bourbon vanilla, tonka bean, clove and cashmeran over caramel, saffron and musk. A rich vanilla gourmand with a little spice.
• Angel Dust (Extrait): pink pepper and Calabrian bergamot, then cashmere wood over white amber and cashmeran. Soft, warm and close to the skin.
• SugarDaddy (Extrait): tangerine and bergamot, then nutmeg, clove, blackcurrant and jasmine over cashmeran, ambergris, patchouli and moss. Fruity and spiced, with an earthy base.
• Thirsty (Extrait): bamboo, apple, galbanum and bellflower, then fig, jasmine, neroli and rose over cedar, musk and amber. A sharp, green floral.
• Workaholic (Extrait): floral top notes, then coffee and Bulgarian rose over vanilla, white musk and amber. Sweet coffee, kept in check by the rose.
• Parfum 1: blackcurrant, citrus, mandarin and peppermint, then davana, frankincense, pink pepper and orange blossom over patchouli, cedar, sandalwood and musk. Fresh at first, then resinous and woody; it was the first Fugazzi fragrance.
• Orange Crush: juicy orange over soft, transparent woods and a warm amber base. Simple, bright and easy to wear.

How To Use a Discovery Set

Each 1mL sample comes in a 2mL vial filled halfway, so the vial will look half full. That is the correct amount, and it gives you roughly 15 sprays. Every vial is labeled with the fragrance name.

Wear one fragrance a day, on skin rather than a paper strip, and give it the whole day. The first ten minutes are the loudest and least representative part of any fragrance; judge it at hour three. Once you have a shortlist of two, wear them on opposite wrists and compare. With eight to try, split them into a fresh group (NoCologne, Thirsty, Parfum 1, Orange Crush) and a warm group (Vanilla Haze, Angel Dust, SugarDaddy, Workaholic) and alternate between them day to day, so your nose resets between styles.
