Description

Aomak opens like a mojito on a hot beach, all mint, lime-bright citrus and ginger, then turns into a peppery, sun-warmed floral. Released in 2025 and composed for Loumari by Christian Provenzano, it takes its inspiration from Socotra, the remote island the house describes as a mirage, fleeting and elusive. Bitter orange, Sicilian mandarin, fresh ginger, cardamom, sage, mint and a mojito accord make the top unusually lively. The heart brings jasmine sambac, neroli and Moroccan rose with helichrysum and the grapefruit-like spice of Timut pepper, and the base settles on sandalwood, patchouli, vetiver, moss, amber and musk. Wearers often comment on the quality of the materials, especially the fruity mojito and mint opening.

Translation: fresh first, with spice and florals sharing the middle. The citrus, mint and mojito give the lift, the ginger, cardamom and pepper the spice, and the jasmine, neroli and rose the floral glow, over a light woody-amber base.
