Description

Noble Cavale is a crisp, green-woody aromatic: basil and citrus on top, a clean sandalwood and vetiver trail underneath. Its name translates roughly as "noble run", and it was composed for Loumari by Amélie Bourgeois and released in 2021. Basil, bergamot, lemon and grapefruit give it a bright, herbal opening. The heart brings cypress, lavender, cardamom and a touch of crisp apple, which adds a subtle fruitiness, and it dries down to balsam fir, amber woods, vetiver and sandalwood. It stays fairly linear once it settles, which is part of its appeal. Reviewers often set it beside Fragrance Du Bois Lucius; Noble Cavale holds one clean, woody line, while Lucius shifts toward orange blossom in the middle.
